unfortunately, my camera was not ready to capture this child. he is exceptionally more tiny than this photo would permit him to appear, but his glasses are absolutely huge.. they’re a very bright powder blue and the most awkward sort of shape, and somehow by hiding his adorable face they make him so much more so. he was very fast and my camera is very slow, so i could not get the full view of his spectacles. if i ever have a little boy, he will look very much like this.
later, i saw him near the picasso museum on my way back down the hill and he was smoking while a film crew prepared their next shot of him.
he was singing something american which did not at all fit the mood of this area, and ruined it slightly for everyone. something from the 70s, something used in forrest gump.
this car doesn’t look so small, but it is so tiny!!
