this might be a representation of unfortunate age, wear, tear, damage, etc. but i just know that this guy didn’t look so happy until he was green.
at each cemetery, the sites were mostly quiet. there were tourists, and sometimes they arrived at a grave at the same time as you, but one party or the other usually moved on fairly quickly. not with chopin–there was a crowd around chopin, staring in awe and being very emotional. the only such reaction i saw was of a person i hadn’t heard of, but everyone was taking pictures and rubbing the back of it like a good luck charm that made them all teary.
i expected the above kind of crowding here, but there wasn’t anyone;
